art therapy and fine art commissions

by Justice Laub

What is this?

I offer art therapy sessions and create commissioned fine art. Art therapy uses creative expression to help process emotions, reduce stress, and gain self-awareness. My commissioned work ranges from smaller pieces ($3,000-$11,000) to large-scale installations.

How does art therapy work?

We meet for 1-3 hour sessions where you create art while I guide the process. No artistic skill needed - it's about expression, not perfection. Sessions can be one-time or ongoing, in-person or virtual.

What does it cost?

Art therapy sessions: $75-$500/hour on a sliding scale. You decide what you can afford - I trust you to be honest about your financial situation. Art supplies included.

Fine art commissions: Smaller pieces range from $3,000-$11,000. Larger installations are priced individually based on scope and materials.

Who is this for?

Anyone dealing with stress, anxiety, trauma, or life transitions. Also for people who just want to explore creativity in a supportive environment. My commissioned art is collected by museums, early crypto investors, and private collectors.

What's the "Extreme Honesty System"?

You tell me what you can afford within the sliding scale, and I trust you. No proof needed, no questions asked. If you can only afford $75/hour, that's fine. If you can afford $500/hour, that helps subsidize sessions for others.

What's the mission here?

I believe everyone deserves access to creative healing, regardless of income. The sliding scale model allows me to work with people across all economic backgrounds while sustaining my practice. Your honesty makes this possible.

Can I commission art for my business?

Yes! Commissioned art is often tax-deductible for businesses as it can be considered a business expense or depreciated asset. Consult your accountant for specifics. Art in workspaces promotes creative thinking and creates a calmer environment.

Why own art?

Original art transforms spaces and mindsets. It promotes creative thought, provides daily inspiration, and creates a sense of calm. For businesses, it signals values and culture. For homes, it makes spaces feel alive and personal.
